Why Did It Happen?

Dear Friends,

May the Spirit of the Father who raised Christ our Lord from the dead be with us! Amen! 

I always wondered why did it happen? There are not one but three questions in this doubt. I wish to share the same with you.

1. Why did the Lord Jesus come to earth?

2. Why did He need to suffer so much and die?

3. Why did He leave everyone and go again?

Now that we know some of the answers to these questions, let us walk in a firmer faith with the evidence of Scripture and history.

If we are wondering what this great miracle in history has to do with the first 33 1/2 years of Christ's era, the answers come pouring out of history and scriptures. Let's meditate on all of them again.

• God, Jehovah, created man on earth in his likeness with a good purpose and told him to prosper and expand and rule over all the things on earth. But he disobeyed God's command and brought death upon himself. That death entered not only him but every man born in his womb. As the scriptures say that the wages of sin are death, every man commits sin and deserves death. God does not want that to happen.
• Although our Father is able to raise the dead and call the things that are not as they are, the Lord decided to take away the sin of one man only through another man, not by His miraculous power.                  

# BIOFIT

1. We did not transgress the commandment and eat the forbidden fruit Like Adam? What sin is there in us worthy of death?

The Scriptures say there are many. For example...Wickedness, covetousness, jealousy, envy, murder, strife, hypocrisy, strife, slanderers, slanderers, haters of God, torturers, proud people, slanderers, evil-doers, disobedience to parents, fools, wrong-doers, unloving, heartless are worthy of death.

2. What is the death penalty?

The law says that anyone who commits a sin worthy of death must be killed and hanged.

Is that it????

There is more. It is not only physical death but also we lose the eternal life of living in the glory of the Father and we become worthy of eternal fire punishment.

3. Is there any way to escape the punishment of this sin?

• According to the law, the Israelites were to offer a kid (baby goat) as a sin offering every year. And lay hands on the kid and confess their transgressions and sins on it and put them on the goat's head and leave it alone in the wilderness.
• Also, when Israel was punished for their sin, Moses made a brass serpent and put it on a pole, and those who looked at it healed that day.
• But if atonement was made for the Israelites in this way, what about us Gentiles? If you think that... it was decided by God the Father that the sacrifice should be done once for all including gentiles and Israelites. It means that the death that came through one man.....the salvation came through another man who did not know sin. (1 Corinthians 15:21)

4.Who is able to atone for the sin that was spread to all through one man, Adam?

According to Romans 5:8, God revealed his love for us by sending his beloved son Jesus Christ to earth in human form to pay the penalty for sin. He who created all things came in the flesh and delivered himself to death for our sins to deliver us from the present evil time. (Galatians 1:4; John 1:2, John 1:14. John 18:37-38 37)

5. Is there any sin in Him?

No. He is holy, innocent, undefiled, separate from sinners, and higher than the heavens. But he himself was made sin, that we might be justified by him, even though he had no cause for death. (Acts 13:28; 2 Corinthians 5:21)

6. What happened through Christ's death?

Just as the sin that came through Adam and was spread, accordingly grace was spread into us through Jesus' death on the cross, 

No matter what, no matter what we did, man is afraid of death. We are addicted to that fear. If this is happening, will our father keep silent? Thus Jesus was sent to the earth as a man of flesh and blood to defeat the dreaded devil and destroy him by death. (Romans 5:16; Hebrews 2:14,15;)

7. How are we justified?

Listen to Paul's answer to this question. "Romans 5:1 Therefore we are justified by faith and have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Romans 5:8-9 Therefore, being now justified by his blood, we are more assuredly saved from wrath through him. "

8. When will that righteousness come into us?

If we crucify our old nature with Him and think that we are dead to our past sins, and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, thinking that we are dead, and believe in our hearts that God will raise Him from the dead, we will be saved.

9. If we are saved by His death, what will happen with His resurrection?

The resurrection of Christ reveals two things to us.

Firstly...

To be crucified with Christ is to surrender our old life of sin to death. Being resurrected with Him means that we receive new life and have life and peace in His company.

Secondly....

Christ died physically. Again the father resurrected him with the same body. That is why the tomb is empty. Then he was glorified. We too will die when our time comes, when the Creator who created us calls us to return as human beings.  But when Jesus comes, we will be resurrected as he was.  That is, death was defeated because the Lord came and defeated death and rose again in victory. So now we don't have to fear death. Even if we die, we will be resurrected as immortals. Then we will be transformed and put on the body of glory. (1 Cor. 15:21-23)  

10. If this sacrifice had not happened, would we have had the forgiveness and salvation we now experience?

Another important good news is….there is no judgment for those who obey the word of the Lord and put their faith in Him. It is as if we have passed from death to life. Similarly, it should be remembered that the crown of life belongs to those who are faithful till death. Also we should live no longer for ourselves but only for our Lord who died for us and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15)

So I understand why the Lord Jesus came to this earth and gave himself up to the point of suffering so much and dying on the cross. But to my question why did the Lord who loved us so much leave everyone and went to heaven again, I got a soft answer from him. 

• Because, your sins can only be absolved if I die….. So I died.
• If I rise from the grave, death will be vanquished... I will rise again so that the fear of death will be removed from you.
• Since the work entrusted to me by the Father is finished here, I will go back to Him and prepare a place there for you and send you the Holy Spirit in the name of the Father,He will be with you every moment until I return again to take you to Me. (John 14:26-18).

Can anyone love us like this? Will they give their life? Will they Want to keep us with them forever?

What can we give to that love??? Don't you want to give a precious gift to your loved one? We don't have the gift that we can give Him but we have the gift that He loves... that is my heart... your heart. Let's give it all.... till the last breath......

Now I am satisfied. My heart rejoices when I think of His love once more. I don't know how many hours are spent talking about that lover. Kudos to that love. See you again with another message of love. 

I am putting before you some evidence that researchers have found about the cross. Take note. 

Similarly, I am giving all the references of the above matter below so that you too can meditate again and revive in that love.

Acts. 2:32 God raised up this Jesus and we are all witnesses of this.

Historical evidence:

• Historians say that after Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, many of them tried to hide all evidence of the crucifixion in order to stop the spread of Christianity.

•  According to their findings, the Romans placed the cross of Jesus and the  crosses of  the  two thieves in a  large pit near Golgotha. 300 years later when an explorer named 'Empress' visited the holy land, he found 3 crosses there.  But  how  to know what is the cross of the Lord in it?

Then the Bishop in Jerusalem got an idea. A sick woman who was suffering from an incurable disease till that day, came and touched the three crosses and when she touched the one she was healed, she found out that it was the cross on which the Lord was nailed. Immediately St. Helena ordered a church to be built there. Thus, they were able to preserve that cross until 614.

• Later, the cross fell into the hands of the Persians and disappeared once more. In 630, Heraclius, emperor of the Byzantine Empire, won a stunning victory over the Persians, then triumphantly returned part of the cross to Jerusalem - the other part remained in Constantinople - where he placed the cross well at Calvary.
• However, a few years later the Arab conquest began and Jerusalem came under Muslim rule. Until the 10th century, worshipers of the True Cross could keep the cross carefully. When Christians were persecuted, the cross was removed from its place and hidden once again. Ninety years later (in 1099) it reappeared again. 
•  However, it was for the time being that, as in 1187, the True Cross disappeared once again, and this time, surely, the Crusaders took it with them to victory over Sultan Saladin on the battlefield of Hattin, beside Lake Tiberius in Galilee. However, they lost the battle, and the cross fell into the hands of the Sultan of Jerusalem. Then the cross disappeared without leaving even the slightest trace. History says that Pope Urban III could not bear to hear the news and died.
• Saint Louis, in 1238, bought two pieces of the cross, then in 1242, among other relics, he preserved some objects (crown of thorns, thorn, holy sponge…), but during the French Revolution (1794), the fragments of the cross disappeared. Only a few fragments and a holy nail remain. They are now preserved in the vault of the Sacristy of Notre Dame Cathedral.
• Over the centuries (especially since the Middle Ages) all the pieces of wood that have been distributed or sold as relics around the world have been treasured in many churches. According to various analyzes and inquiries, the “real” fragments of Jesus' cross are only about a tenth of the cross; Everything else remains questionable. The remains are referred to as lignum crucis (“wood of the cross”). In the monastery of Mount Athos the largest portion of Greece is preserved; Other fragments are in Rome, Brussels, Venice, Ghent, and Paris.

The Leader.. Part-3 (The Piligrim's Failure)

Greetings to you all in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ.

After understanding the first and second parts, I glorify the God who has clearly explained the life of a great man of God who seemed to be faithful in the entire God's house and set him as an example for us.

When we get into the topic, Moses was faithful in everything and got a testimony from God. But I was very disappointed in one thing in his life. You know that too. It is said that for 40 years he walked tirelessly, bearing insults and accusations, hoping to enter the promised land, but did not even set foot on that ground. God said look at that land with your eyes but don't go to the promised land. (Deut. 34:4).

It means that the traveler who traveled so hard did not reach his intended destination. why?  What actually happened?? Was this a gift from God to honor his faithfulness?

I started researching about Moses again to know the truth.

If we think in general, when we start a journey to go somewhere, we feel very sad just when we came to know that the trip has been canceled Or suppose you go on a journey one day and have to come back instead of going to the right place. That pain cannot be said at all.

But, It is very sad to hear that Moses, who traveled for 40 years, he didn't step to the destination, which means, Moses didn't reach the destination. But the twist is that Moses was not discouraged at all. He happily agreed. Why... let's study, only then we learn a lesson.

1. Did God punish Moses?

Moses was righteous in all things. He seemed to be a believer in God's house but in one thing he did according to his mind instead of what God commanded. And going against commandments is a sin! Since God is the judge, there is no wrong in anyone's case! So the judgment that came to Moses was that he was not allowed to step into the promised land.

2. Is it!!... But what was that mistake that Moses made?

When the people of Israel could not find water on the way, they stopped praying to God and began to blame Moses. Then the Lord called Moses and told him to speak to the rock there,  but instead, Moses struck the rock with his staff in front of all the people. A person walking in God's company and as a leader is it not wrong to do that? (Deut. 32:51-52)j

3. And was Moses troubled?

Like every one of us, Moses had many goals. After stepping into the promised land, he has to do this..that..to give a better life to his family and people, he is traveling with many wishes. In other words, stepping into the Promised Land was a dream for Moses. That's why he endured everything. Learned many lessons.

While learning so, it was clear to him that even if I went to the Promised Land it was only for a while and there was another permanent destination to look forward to. Not only Moses. Many faithful realized that and died happily.

4. Like Moses, there are many who have attained eternal heaven.

Paul: Hebrews 11:13-16 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

14. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.

15. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had the opportunity to return.

David: Psalm 39:12 Hear my prayer, O Lord, and give ear unto my cry; hold not Thy peace at my tears; for I am a stranger with Thee and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.. 

Jacob: Genesis 47:9  And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, “The days of the years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty years. Few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.”

Peter: 1 Peter 2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the south,

Now....What about US?

This journey of life will end one day. Whether we admit it or not... whether we achieve everything we planned or not... we must leave everything and go when we received the Lord's call.

We fear just when we hear the word "death". But the Lord intends for us to understand the matter as well.

For example... suppose a director is making a film. He calls each one and assigns each role. They have to play their role correctly while shooting. When the shooting is over, they have to go to their own places. Such is our life!

Does the sunset of the sun mean that the story of the sun is over? Isn't He going to rise up somewhere else? And we who are here in the dust shall rise in the body of glory in the Lord's kingdom. That is our hope... the secret truth.

We set many goals in our life. But there is nothing wrong with working together to achieve the desired goal. Actually, that's good. But it is literally futile to set extreme goals to satisfy this body that merges into the soil.

It is foolish to lament that we have not reached our desired destination in this world. It is a journey but not our destination. Our destination is the kingdom of heaven.

For we are strangers before Thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers; our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding. 1 Chronicle 29:15.

In this context, we need to know some truths about the earth we live on. Because our life and this earth we live in will all disappear one day. Heaven alone is eternal for us. Do you know how much the earth has changed since the beginning of creation??

We thought that Moses did not reach his destination!! But you know what Moses said?...I don't care if I don't reach the goals of this world... Because I have a chance to enter eternal heaven.

Ever since the birth of the earth, it has gradually undergone many changes. Many creatures have become extinct. Although some of the changes seem new, the conclusion of many studies is that the Earth is also nearing its end.

Isaiah 51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner. But My salvation shall be forever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished..

2 Peter 3:10  But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up..

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea..

Then Where is the dwelling place of our Lord

Psalm 102:27 You are eternal; there is no end to your years. destroyed, but we have an eternal dwelling place in heaven, not made with hands. 

Malachi 3:6  “For I am the LORD, I change not. Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.. 

Did you think that Moses did not reach his destination!! But you know what Moses said?...I don't care if I don't reach the goals of this world... Because I have a chance to enter eternal heaven.

   

Is It?  What is the proof then?

Mark 9:4 And Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Jesus.

Luke 9:30 And two men talked with him, whose names were Moses and Elijah.

Yes, it is true.... Because what Moses did was against God, God punished him severely and God prepared for him in heaven an eternal reward for his faithfulness.

Just as the children of God believe, wait, and finish their earthly journey, we too have to walk on the same path. 

"Hebrews 11:10 For what God is the architect and builder of, Abraham looked forward to that city with foundations."

• Lord Jesus has explained many examples about our true destination i.e. Heaven.
• We are now seeing the way he explained in a mirror but soon we are going to see it with our own eyes and live in that joy.
• This earth, this life, our family, friends, and so much more.....isn't it great! These bonds...relationships... love...are wonderful. We really don't want to leave them! I want to stay in this joy forever! I really feel the same way. But one truth still fills me with extreme joy.

If the joyful life that appears before us is like this and then disappears one day..... We are about to step into the joy that never fades, never and never and never changes, how much better it would be. No one can take that joy away from us. We will not lose anyone. Wow... Awesome...

A little warning though. Our prayer is that after we believe that we have qualified to go to heaven, that is, when we are washed in the blood of the Lord and walk in His way, Our people all get there together.

Let us work for the Lord till the end of this Journey.. Let us go away happily like the Children of those days when He calls.

The Leader.. Part-2 (Moses in The Scriptures)

 Praise be to God, the God of Gods who gives us "every day" as a gift out of His love.

Dear friends,

 I learned a lot about Moses from the first article. I believe, you also read about the greatness of Moses in history and praised God. If it is so great about Moses in history, then, if you look at the Bible, we will clearly understand how did the life of that leader begin, and what is his strength? what the weakness is. A lot of respect has grown on him now.

We have heard many things from the Bible about Moses since childhood, but let's take a look at it once again. Because his whole life is a struggle. But he kept winning every time. There was no looking back until the moment of death.

We are also in a struggle now. We are afraid of losing anywhere and stopping. Let's see if he can help us this time. Let's Ask him and know who he walked with the help of...whom he looked up to and survived, then we too will follow him.

The Bible mentions Moses in 786 verses in 31 books. Let's carefully find out the things we need in it.

In the first topic, we studied what is thought about Moses in other religious texts as well as in history. But what our standard book Bible says is very important to us. Moses appears as a very special person in the Bible. Because God spoke to Moses more than anyone else.

First, let's see how Moses is addressed in the Bible.

1. Moses - First Pharaoh's daughter named him Moses because he drank from the water.

2. Mediator - Exodus 24:3

3. Pharaoh's God - He was appointed as God by God to Phoroah. Exodus 7:1

4. My servant Moses - who received the testimony from the hand of God. Numbers 12:6 - Addressing God

5. The Law of Moses - The Law itself was given a name - the Law of Moses.

6. The meekest - The meekest of all on earth - God's testimony Numbers 12:3

7. The Leader - A leader who led a nation of more than six lakhs.

8. Priest of God- Psalm 99:6

9. God's appointed man - Psalm 106:23

10. He who declares God's judgment to the people - Exodus 18:15

11. He is Faithful in all -  God's Testimony Numbers.12:7

The fact that Moses is called in the Bible in all these ways, especially as God Himself testifies about him, means that Moses must have had very special qualities. Let's take a look at it and learn.

• Recognized: Moses was growing up in a royal family. There is a chance to experience all the pleasures. But he realized why he and his people had to be here. The first time when God called Moses...Moses recognized his voice and said, "Lord of the Lord here I am" Exodus 3:4. After he spoke he realized his duty... and he was ready.

• He led: not one.. not two people but over six lakhs. Not one day two days but 40 years together. Did he lead with his voice or with solemn eloquence? No.. even though he has oral retardation and tongue retardation, he walked... he led.   

• Took the blame:

No matter how many miracles God performed for the nation of Israel, they somehow spoke impatiently of Moses who led them, and God who freed them from slavery. He didn't ask even once that Even though I was insulted so many times, God, why did you entrust me with this work... Why did I have to suffer in this wilderness for 40 years for the sin they committed?

In that wilderness, the whole community of Israel gathered around Moses and Aaron.  Exo.16:2

Why did the people complain about Moses because there was no water? They have brought us here from Egypt to kill us, our children, and our livestock. Exo.17:3

  The next day the whole community of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying, "You have killed the people of Jehovah" Numbers 16:41

• Moses is Faithful: Jehovah's Witness

It is said that Whenever God appeared and entrusted a task to him, he fulfilled every task without fail. If our Lord Himself testifies that, then what is there to doubt about it?

He is faithful in all my ways. Numbers 12:7

Of all that Jehovah commanded Moses, he did not fail to do one thing. Joshua 11:15

For we have a high priest over the house of God, Hebrews 10:21

As a witness of the things that will be told before, Moses was a minister and was faithful in God's house. Hebrews 3:2-5

• Interrupted:

Enduring even when people are down on him, Every time Whenever God gets angry and wants to destroy them, Moses used to beg God to save people. He used to go into his presence and talk to him like a friend so as to calm his anger.

Then he said, I will destroy them. But Moses, whom He had appointed to appease His anger, so that He would not destroy them, stood and hindered His presence. Psalm 106:23

 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? 32:11

Do you know what honor God gave to Moses for recognizing Him when He called, following Him, obeying Him, and fulfilling all His purposes.....

I will speak to him plainly from my heart, and give him a chance to see me, said the Lord. 

Exodus 12:8 I will speak with him face to face, not with my senses; He shall gaze upon the form of Jehovah.

Exo. 33:9 When Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud came down and stood at the door of the tent, and the Lord spoke to Moses.

 Jehovah spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. Later he was returning to the camp. 33:11

2. He had the privilege of being in the presence of the Lord on Mount Sinai and listening to His words to introduce a great law to the people. 

3. When the Lord Jesus came to earth as the Son of Man... along with Elijah, Moses also came and had the opportunity to talk with him for a while. "Moses and Elijah appeared to them and talked with Jesus. Mark 9:4"

Beloved in Christ,

Doesn't it prove that this is the meaning of the saying that the faithful will receive many blessings! What a great blessing. Moses taught many things. He is seen as a guide not only for the people of Israel but also for us now.

Even our journey is now very difficult. Just as God appeared and spoke to Moses when he walked toward the mountain of God at this time, He speaks to us as we step toward the Word.

There is no change in our Father. He was of the same mind then and now. He is with us as He was with Moses. When Moses raised his staff, the vast waters moved aside. Many miracles have happened. Wars stopped when hands were raised. Today every day in our life is a miracle... The Lord is great... Our Lord is able to change all situations for us no matter what the situation is when we lift up our hearts with faith in the Lord like Moses.

Salutations to the Supreme God who is always the same yesterday and today.
