3. The LIGHT

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you in the Mighty and Matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Hope you all are safe and sound by the Grace of our God JEHOVAH RAPHA.

In the previous topic "The Creator's Creation" We have meditated up to some extent on His Great Creation. We cannot express all the things He did, but we must meditate on a few things. Because our Lord has kept many of His creations as shadows. Our Faith will further strengthen by meditating on them, so I will try to put each of them before you.

Now let's walk into the  'Light' (THE LIGHT), our selected Topic.

Let us first see what the scholars and researchers in the world says about the subject of 'Light' and then let us understand the clarity of the Lord's Light in the scriptures.

See below the contents of human knowledge in the form of Question and Answer.

1. What is light?

Light is a kind of energy that allows us to see the world around us. Light is an important element in our daily lives. It guides us throughout the day, waking us up in the morning and getting us to sleep at night. Light is an inverted, electromagnetic wave that can be seen by the average human being.

2. Where does this 'light' come from?

Our main natural light sources are the sun and the stars. Light from the sun travels through space and reaches the earth, where it becomes "scattered" when it hits various particles and molecules in the atmosphere. This light travels through the atmosphere and then reaches the Earth's surface.

3. How do humans use light?

The light from the sun is all around us. We can use it to communicate, navigate, direct, learn, and explore. There is so much more light than we can detect with our eyes. There is no atmosphere in space or scattering light on the moon. All the colors travel in a straight line together without breaking the light coming from the sun.

4. How fast does light travel?

The speed of light in a vacuum is 1,86,282 miles per second (2,99,792 kilometers per second), and in theory, there is nothing faster than light. Per hour (in miles), the speed of light is very high: about 670,616,629 mph.

5. What happens if there is no light?

Without light, nothing is visible to our eyes. Because light is what gives our eyes the power to see, we become blind without light. Photosynthesis causes plants to release oxygen, which is used for gravity. Without light, all of this would not be possible.

Now let’s get into the scriptures.

How did the light come about? The verse says that God created light with the single word "let there be light". Then he separated the light from the darkness and made the sun to shine, and the moon to shine;

God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:16-18.

That means God created the Light before the Sun created! Where did that light come from? The answer to this is stated by God Himself in the form of a question in the book of Job. “What is the way to the abode of light? Job 38:19.  It mean to say that, the place where the light lives is different. But where is it?  Daniel has the answer. "and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22."   David also gives another clarification. "The Lord wraps himself in the light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent 104:2."

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all. 1John 1:5".

That means He is radiating light on us. "His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. Habakkuk 3:4. who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1Timothy 6:16.

What makes sense to me about this is that God, our Father said, "Let there be light and light in this great universe, which is shrouded in darkness." Then the light separated the darkness and assigned laws to the Universe. Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s[a] dominion over the earth? Job 38:33

We are not in the light of something accidentally born. We are in that light that surrounds us with Almighty God. "The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine on us." Psalm 118: 27, likewise David perceived by the Spirit, "Let the light of your face shine on us." Psalm 4: 6, says with a request.

He is the light we see. His facial expression. We see the light coming from His presence, in His Word, to fulfill His will. After a while, this sun and moon will no longer exist. We can see with our own eyes the light of His light which we now see as a shadow and rejoice in Him. "The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end." Isaiah 60:19-20.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. Rev.21:23

If this light from His presence seems so great to us, and if we have the opportunity to come into His presence and spend ages there with Him, will we give up? Don't give up at all! Do not give up. Because even that opportunity was sent for us by God our Father in the form of light. "The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him." John 1:9,10.

See how the sons of Korah prayed to Him, filled by the spirit of God.

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain,to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43:3

That light came on. Come and said, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

He came as the Son of Man to take us to his dwelling place, so He said “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." Isaiah 60:1. Now that we have accepted him and are searching for him, "You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence." Psalms 90:8 So when we admit them and leave, That true light leads us to enter into that eternal kingdom that does not want to be the light of the sun, the light of the moon. "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." John 12:46

That light is our Lord Jesus. "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12. "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."John 1:4, "As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work."John 9:4, "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."John 12:46.

This is why it is said:“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

He has made us, the established lineage, the royal priesthood, the holy people, the people who belong to God, to proclaim the attributes of the One who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light, and to lead many into that light upon which we are enlightened. When we perfectly fulfill His will .........“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[a] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Mathew 24:30-31.

When we are born into His light, when we fall into spiritual darkness, His great Son's plan is to send His Son into the light, to be lit in His light, to walk in His light and to enter into the everlasting kingdom. The Lord is not far from us. They were with us, entered into us and lit us up. He came to light and made us light.

Would not the mind be overwhelmed if one reads the words of the Lord! Now the time is August 26 at 3am. If you meditate on the plans of that lover, I admire his light. There is still a lot to say. My life is as satisfying as the fat brain that David was.

Meditate on those scriptures, too, and rejoice in that glorious light. May the grace of the Lord be with you.

Light of the world

You stepped down into darkness

Opened my eyes, let me see

Beauty that made this heart adore You

Hope of a life spent with You

Here I am to worship

Here I am to bow down

Here I am to say that You're my God

2. The Creator's Creation

 Dear Friends,

Praise The Lord!

We know that God Jehovah, The God of gods, made all creation, but when we meditate on those things are from the scriptures, There is unspeakable joy in us and a firm faith in Him and in His works.

Let me share with you some of the things I learned through the study of the Scriptures.

Why did God do all this creation? How and When did happen?  We have many questions like this. But, as far as we need to know are embedded in the scriptures. If we think more than that, is beyond our knowledge. So let us meditate on what has been revealed to us.

According to the scriptures, 'Job' says that God first spread the sky where everything was empty.  'Isaiah' also spoke that God created the heavens and stretches them out. Then God brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Later, in the book of Job, God Himself explained that He made the earth very special. Set up a special event and the morning stars sing together and all the angels rejoice and triumph, laid its cornerstone. God, the Creator of the heavens, prepared and stabilized the earth.

Do you know how special God made the earth, that He did not make it to be formless, but that it was built to be inhabited.  Then on earth, He set up everything He intended and then made us humans in His likeness. God blessed us and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

And entrusting all of this creation to us, what God is doing now?
Is He Silent?  And can we be the way we want to be? The Answer is NO.  Hebrew 4:13 says : Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. He is not silent but says, Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”

God made such a beautiful creation for us, but what is His purpose on us? What should we do?
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do and to be made new in the attitude of our minds and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

When we were stuck in such tough days, when hardships were torn with tears, when diseases would surrounding us, does God care about us?

This creation was made by God with great love. We are His people. Why does he leave us? When we are drowning in sin,  If He don't care, why does he send His beloved Son to shed blood for our sins?

The Lord foretold to his children what would happen after these tribulations. you know what? Isaiah 65:17 says See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind". What a great promise my friends!!

Then, John says he saw this happen. Let us read what is that!  Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”  Revelation 5:13.

It means that we will soon be freed from these bad days and worship God the Father and His Son together with all creation. This creation is  belongs to our Father and we are His people, we are not abandoned. why will He forsake us?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Historical Evidences:

Existence of Earth:

Natural world, and the existence of humanity in the universe, all reminds us the Divine Creator who brought them into existence. To the best of our knowledge, the earth exists with many conditions that allow our existence and make it incomparable to any other world.

We live in a particularly privileged place.(Image:The Earth at night from the International Space Station) We live on a planet that has all the materials needed for life, including:
  • We are at the right distance from our sun so that the temperatures are favorable for life.
  • Liquid is the optimal atmospheric pressure for   liquid water at our surface.
  • We have the right materials - the right balance of heavy elements and organic molecules - for life to arise.
  • Our world has the right water for us to have both oceans and continents.
If you look at the other worlds we know, the difference is amazing.

Kepler 186f is one of a very Earth-like planet.

Design in the Human Body:

The nervous system: Particularly BRAIN. Its complexity, which is not at all possible for man to produce, is a miracle by our wonder working GOD.

Design in Human Embryonic Development:

Another wonderful reflection of creation is the astonishing process of fetal development, including the way man develops in his mother's womb.

My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalms 139:15-16.

Moreover, the birds, the flowers, the hills, the valleys that we see every day and many more that we do not see would show the love of our God and His greatness.

Look at these flowers showing our Creator skill and his heart.

Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.  “Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:27-32

Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
    is heard in our land.
Song of Songs 2:12
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Luke 12:22.

Did God say that we are better than these? And if those little birds were looking for the Creator, shouldn't we be looking for Him even more?

We know & rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, & God in him. ~ 1John 4:16
If this creation is following His Heart, should we not change into His likeness even more?
I am a rose of Sharon, a lily of the valleys. Like a lily among   thorns is my darling among the young women. Song of Songs    2:1-2.

If all the flowers were on that tree that seemed to have   withered, if we think, We lost,we got tired, we thought we   were gone, but God's creation shows that many blessings are   hidden for us.

Behind this marvelous creation we can see the perfect hand of our Almighty God.  Every creature of this universe will sing....
Shout to the Lord, all the earth let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name
I sing for joy at the work of your hands
Forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have
In YOU

    All Glory to God.

Now it's your turn. Meditate on the Scriptures and share with me what God has revealed to you.

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

1. NOAH (A Faithful Man of GOD)

Dear Friends,

I'm inspired to start this blog with the topic of NOAH. He is a good example for our Christian life. I hope that studying this topic in the circumstances we are currently in, will strengthen our incomprehensible faith in God.
Personally I was taught a lot of things while studying about this great person. Let’s get into the topic further.
Noah lived on this earth for 950 years. Let us see how this great person described in the Bible...
  • He is gracious in the sight of the LORD.
  • The righteous man and is blameless in his generation.
  • One who also walks with God.
  • Heir to righteousness by faith.
  • Proclaimer of righteousness.

Even when he has neither Law nor Rules with him he walked with GOD, and he is gracious in the sight of the LORD.

When the Lord saw Noah, He was the only righteous man of that generation. Not only that, when God called him, he obeyed his word and did what he commanded. In II Peter 2:5 he appears to have proclaimed righteousness and protected his family as well.

It took 120 years to build the ark, as God had mentioned. He may have faced many accusations and insults at that time.  At the same time, he was warned by God of things he could not see, he patiently built the ship without leaving the fear of God.  When God told him what he was going to do, he believed in Him and waited patiently.

The ship is ready now.  Animal all got into it. 8 people also boarded, but waited silently on the ship for another 7 days. That is, God allowed the rest of them to be saved during this time. Still looking forward for them. According to 1 Peter 3:20,  To protect his people, God proclaimed the truth and awaited for their salvation. Even though Noah did not know the whole thing, he did not get tired and waited for what He would say.

In the same way, even now he kept years of grace before us and He is waiting.
With the onset of 2020, the situation changed dramatically. No one knows when or what will happen. Just as God waited another seven days for the people of Noah's day, so our days continue to increase. This life will end sometime, but the goal before us is to enter the kingdom of God.
Does it already make sense that this world is temporary?  Thousands are dying before our eyes. The time is fast approaching when we too will reach that point. According to Ezekiel 14:14 “ Even if these three men  Noah, Daniel and Job, were in it, they would only deliver themselves.” Says the Lord God. We, like Noah, must defend our righteousness. According to Hebrew 11:7 The Lord wants us to receive that inheritance, just as faith is the inheritance of righteousness.
All of these are just some of the things that made sense to me by studying Noah's life.
Below are all the references in the Bible about Noah. Share with me the things the Lord spoke to you when you also studied. Thus let us strengthen one another in faith.
Genesis 5:29 - And he called his name Noah, saying, "This one will comfort us concerning our work and toll of our hands, because of the ground which the lord has cursed."
Genesis 5:32 - And Noah was 500 years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham and Japheth.
Genesis 6:8 - But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Genesis 6:9 - This is the genealogy of Noah, Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.
Genesis 6:13 - And God said to Noah, The end of the flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
Genesis 6:22 - Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.
Genesis 7:1 -  Then the Lord said Noah, "come into the ark, you and all your household, because I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation.
Genesis 7:5 - And Noah did according to all that the Lord commanded him.
Genesis 8:1 - Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all that animals that were with him in the ark.  And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.
Genesis 9:1 - So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them: Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.
Genesis 9:29 - So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.
Isaiah 54:9    - "For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
Ezekiel 14:14 - "Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord God.
Hebrew 11:7 - By faith Noah, being divinely warned of things not yet seen, moved with Godly fear, prepared an ark for the saving of his household, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
1 Peter 3:20 - Who formerly were disobedient, when once the divine long suffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
II Peter 2:5 - And did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly!

Historical Evidences:

  1. Searches for Noah's Ark have been made from at least the time of Eusebius (c. 275–339) to the present day. Nevertheless, Mount Ararat is traditionally considered the resting place of Noah's Ark. It is called a biblical mountain. Mount Ararat has been associated with the Genesis account since the 11th century, and Armenians began to identify it as the ark's landing  place during that time.
  2. The team claims to have found in 2007 and 2008 seven large wooden compartments buried at 13,000 feet (4,000 meters) above sea level, near the peak of Mount Ararat. They returned to the site with a film crew in October 2009.
  3. Many other cultures also have stories of an ancient flood that left only a few survivors- the Babylonians, ancient Greeks and Romans, and Native Americans. These stories are generally taken as myths or morality tales, but scientists have now found evidence that a great flood did occur in the region of the black Sea about 7,000 years ago.
  4. Marine archaeologists have found the first evidence of a people who perished in a great flood of the Black Sea that has been linked with the story of Noah's ark. Using robot underwater vehicles more that 300ft below that sea's surface, they have begun to map a rolling landscape, fed by meandering streams and marked with wattle and daub houses, that was flooded more than 7,000 years age.
  5. Replicas of portions of the ark at the Creation Museum (Petersburg, Kentucky) and in a warehouse nearby.
Now we see another ark made in US with the same measurements that God gave to Noah.
As mentioned above, here are some of the things I learned. I hope you found these topics somewhat useful in your Bible study on this topic.
The books in the links given below will also help us a lot to learn more.

God of goodness, give me yourself.
For you are sufficient for me
If I were to ask for anything less
I should always be in want,
for in you alone do I have all

Why Did It Happen?

Dear Friends, May the Spirit of the Father who raised Christ our Lord from the dead be with us! Amen!   I always wondered why did it happen?...
