6. Tools (Part 1)

 Dear Friends,

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I glorify the name of God by believing that I can help your Bible studies to some extent through these Topical studies. The grace of the Lord be with you.
Some of the incidents in the scriptures surprise us. At the same time, they also teach us a lesson. We have learnt in past topics that God loved us so much and made plans for us. He also made this creation for us and told us rule over it.
When God created man and intended to take him into His kingdom, the Almighty used this creation as his tool to transform the man by  his own will who consciously sinned against the Lord. He also uses transfigured men as his tools. The tool does not have to be alive to be used in his hands. Not to be outdone. Let us now meditate on how if He wants to use it He can use anyone. as well as what it would be like to use it in His hand.

In this topic, I will try to put before you in particular the historical evidence of how the Lord used nature as tools, and how they obeyed His word from the Scriptures and as far as I can find.

Let’s start with the Red Sea first.
1. RED SEA
  • The Red Sea is about 2250 km (1398 miles) long.
  • Width 355 km,
  • Depth (maximum) 8,200 feet (2,500 m) and average depth 1,640 feet (500 m).
We know that Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the nation of Israel walked on dry ground. (Exodus 14: 16-22) However, if we think deeply about this event (miracle), many surprising things appear.

Also we definitely praise God if one thinks carefully about how many tools were used to make that great work happen.

As God said "Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided,. Exodus 14:21"  it happened according to the Scriptures.
  • That means, before Moses' stretched out his hand, God called the "wind" and determined its speed and said that the Red Sea should be divided and the area visible there should become dry land, but that your speed would not cause any trouble to my people there.
  •  Then God said that the sea at a depth of 8,200 feet (2500 meters) would have to be turned into frozen dry land so that it would look like dry land parallel to the earth, that is, God's people would have to go through the cracked sea path from the shore as they walked on the plain. "and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left." Exodus 14:22 "By the blast of your nostrils the waters piled up. The surging waters stood up like a wall;  the deep waters congealed in the heart of the sea." Exodus 15:8.  Scriptures confirms that it happened exactly.

Then God Called the sea and split into two when the wind bothers you. He said it should stand like two walls. It seems they became ice walls. Then the "pillar of fire" that warms up is with them so that people can not walk in the cold.

  • Again it must come back to the exact time when God told the seawater to return to its original state.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the waters may flow back over the Egyptians and their chariots and horsemen.” 27 Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak, the sea went back to its place. The Egyptians were fleeing toward[c] it, and the Lord swept them into the sea. Exodus 14:26,27.

Historical Evidence:

Chariot Wheels in the Red Sea
(first published in newsletter # 3 in 1993)

Archaeologist Ron and his team discovered the remains of chariots covered with corals when they went dive in the Gulf of Aqaba in 1978.
They found many wheels covered in coral, which made it difficult to see them clearly. Some of them are still on their axles while others have landed on the ground and still have chariot cabs without wheels. Those researchers say it contains a number of 6-spoked wheels and 8-spoked wheels.

And finally, in 1988, Ron found the 4-spoked gold chariot wheel, which looks almost perfect. The reason this one was so well preserved is that coral does not grow on gold.
All of those wheels were taken to the office of Nasif Mohammed Hassan, the director of antiques he works for in Ron Cairo.
Mr. Hassan took a look and immediately announced that it was the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt. When Ron asked him how he knew him so easily, Mr. Hassan explained that the 8-spoke wheel was only used in the 18th dynasty.
Based on all this evidence, it is possible to be convinced by anyone that the Red Sea incident described in the Bible is true. But we know that our Almighty God has Wonderworking Power. We know he is capable of being called what is not there.

If God wanted his people, the nation of Israel, over 6 million, to walk on dry ground without any trouble, would it not be clear to us that the Red Sea was used as a great tool to stand up against His nature and fulfill all of His will!

2. Moses' Staff

God called Moses to lead the nation of Israel and used his staff to lay the foundations of faith in him.

Then the Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” “A staff,” he replied. The Lord said, “Throw it on the ground.”
Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it. 4 Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand..  Exodus 4:2-4

1.From then on it was called the Staff of God. God performed miracles and wonders when he used that stick as a tool for every miracle he performed and when he raised a stick that had no power at all, as well as when it touched anything.  "And he took the staff of God in his hand.. Exodus 4:20".

2. When the Israelites were at war with the Amalekites, the Israelites won when Moses lifted the rod of God from the mountain.  "Tomorrow I will stand on top of the hill with the staff of God in my hands.”. Exodus 17:9".

3. All the dust turned to gnats when Moses struck the dust with his staff, just as God had said. "‘Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,’ and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats.”. Exodus 8:16"

4. Again the Lord commanded the rod to be laid upon the land of Egypt, and God commanded the locusts to come out. "So Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the Lord made an east wind blow across the land all that day and all that night. By morning the wind had brought the locusts;. Exodus 10:13".

5. God called Moses again and said struck the rock at Horeb, and we know that water came out of the rock when he did so. "The Lord answered Moses, “Go out in front of the people. Take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand the staff with which you struck the Nile, and go..Exodus 17:5".

Although it was the Lord who did all the work here, the way he used a small stick in Moses' hand as his tool was truly astonishing.

3. Donkey

God called Balak, the king of Moab, and Balaam the prophet to curse the nation of Israel, God's people.  As he was getting ready for it God gave the donkey a human voice and reassured him.
The donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your own donkey, which you have always ridden, to this day? Have I been in the habit of doing this to you? Numbers 22:28,31

2 Peter  2:16. But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey—an animal without speech—who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.
God used the donkey as a tool to teach the lesson to this prophet.

4. The sun and the moon

God made the sun and the moon for us and appointed them to rule the day and the night. They have been used as tools in God's hands ever since.  His purpose continues to be fulfilled. Genesis 1:14,15

When Joshua went to war with the Amorites and they still had enemies to defeat, Joshua prayed to God and talked with the sun and moon and told them not to go ahead. God had accepted his prayer and commanded them not to move. They did not move for a whole day.

A full explanation of this is given in the article "4. The Sun (Righteous Sun)" with historical evidence.
On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel:

“Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,  till the nation avenged itself on[b] its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar.

The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
. Joshua 10:12, 13

5. Donkey jaw bone

When the Philistines tried to kill Samson in the days when God appointed him to judge over Israel, the Spirit of the Lord came mightily on him, and he took a fresh jawbone of a donkey and killed a thousand men, and Praised God, The LORD hath given me victory.

Finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men. Because he was very thirsty, he cried out to the Lord, “You have given your servant this great victory.... Judges 15:15-18

God used Donkey's jawbone as a tool to save Samson and to protect his people.

6. The stone in David's Sling

When the Philistines went to war with the Israelites in the valley of Yela,
David observed that a warrior named Goliath came up from among them and rebuking the army of the living God.

With Saul's permission, David approached the Philistine and said, 'I am coming to you in the name of Jehovah of Armies, not with a sword, nor with a spear.

Saying that the battle belonged to Jehovah, he took hold of his staff, and he took five stones out of the valley and took one of them, and threw it at the Philistine on the forehead, and the stone fell on his forehead, and he fell to the ground and died.
Is it possible to kill a strong man with a small stone? If that stone is commanded by God, if it becomes a tool in His hand .. it is certainly possible.

The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”. 1 Samuel 17:37
Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground.. 1 Samuel 17:49

7. Ravens

The Lord called Elijah, the prophet of the Lord, who was very zealous for the Lord God of hosts and told him to leave his place and dwell at the brook Kirith, which is over Jordan. Then what about  food for him? God has a plan for that.

Do you know what tools God used to feed his servant Elijah? God commanded Ravens who were wandering about without food to give loaves of bread and flesh to Elijah twice a day.

The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook.. 1 Kings 17:6 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”1 Kings 17:4
Where can the bread and meat for Elijah be found on both sides of the roaming crows screaming kaw kaw where they can find food without feeding themselves? Will they bring it to Elijah if they find it?

Definitely give him. Because now those crows are the tools used by God to feed Elijah.

They do not eat even if they want to eat when they see the food. They know that after the Lord's will is done He will provide them with adequate food.
Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?
Job 38:41
He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call. Psalms 147:9
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! 25 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life[b]? . Luke 12:24

All of these situations are familiar to us from childhood but when we meditate on them over and over again we can understand that If God uses lifeless sticks and faith as unknown beings as tools to help us and to comprehend His will, can He use us even more?
It is His intention that as we meditate on His handiwork we will perceive His love and be strengthened in faith in Him.

In the next article, we will meditate on some of the remaining things that are used as God's tools in obedience to God's Word.

Note that I am giving below the references from the Scriptures related to the tools given so far.

Bible study Navigator - Introduction

Dear Brothers and sisters,

Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Reading the Bible is casually is different from reading meditatively.  When we study and read the Bible, so many things are understood beyond the normal reading. Only then we can experience the sweetness of the word of GOD.

For a variety of reasons, regular Bible  study may not be possible. But if we do not meditate on the Bible we will miss the mysterious truths that our Lord has hidden for us.

I have started this Blog, so I can help you to some extent through this Bible Study Navigator so that we will not miss that great time of fellowship with God.  There are many methods to study the Bible. The method I have selected is Topical Bible Study Method.

In this I will select a topic and mention all the references related to it from the Bible  here. That makes you run quickly through the topic and understand better. Also that will help you to cover more topics in a limited period of time and help you to know most valuable information from Bible. I will also try to put in front of you the historical evidences related to that particular topic.

God bless u all...

5. God made Man Vs Man made God

Blessed be the name of the Lord!

Dear Friends,

While meditating on the creation of God our Father I have some questions when I think about this creation that He made in one word.
  • He made the heavens and the sun and every creature that is before our eyes by his mere word of mouth but why did he make us especially with his own hands, who appear and evaporate?
  • Why did He send His beloved Son to suffer and to give His life for these people who live without fear when all creation trembles at His word?
  • Why is he still waiting for the people who are still worshipping the tree and idol as God Although there is ample evidence that he is the Creator?

After so many doubts why is late... Let's look into the scriptures and know the truth.

GOD MADE MAN!

How did God make a man?

Genesis 2:7 says after God is determined to create man in His own image, Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Job also makes it clear in verse 33: 4 that "The Spirit of   God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life."

When God breathed his breath into the nostrils of a man with his mouth does the fact that the clay has turned into a walking man mean that the breath is so normal? If not, what kind of it?  Then we have to listen by holding our breath!

1. If he held his breath in anger from above the heavens, the bottom of the water would be visible. . The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of breath from his nostrils.. 2 Samuel 22:15."

2. Not only that, if he blows, people will fall.."a flame will wither his shoots, and the breath of God’s mouth will carry him away. Job 15:30"

3. If he breathes, there will be snow on the ground. "The breath of God produces ice, and the broad waters become frozen. Job 37:10"

4. The greatest thing of all is that the psalmist says that all these galaxies, which are now visible to us but not yet visible, were caused by his breath. "By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.. Psalms 33:6"

But what is the proof that man was born of clay?

  • New scientific research suggests that all living things on earth may have come from the soil, as revealed in the Bible. Scientists say in scientific reports that the soil is primarily conducive to the growth of minerals, tiny molecules and chemicals in the earth and that the chemicals react with each other to form proteins, DNA and eventually biological cells.
  • Biological engineers at Cornell University for nanoscale science in New York State believe that soil may be 'the birthplace of life on earth (i.e. man was made from clay)'.
Is it confirmed that the man was made of clay. But what is in the soil must also be in man! Let's look at that as well.

Gathered from some research that prove that nutrients in the soil are equivalent to nutrients in the human body.

1. Nutrients for plants come mainly from the soil.
2. Most of the nutrients for humans come mainly from food grown in the soil.
3.Potassium helps regulate human muscle and heart response. Potassium in plants helps to effectively control water and supply it throughout the plant.
4. In terms of plant needs, carbon, oxygen and hydrogen are called non-mineral nutrients. People need these too.
5. The complete list of nutrients needed by humans and plants includes manganese, magnesium, iron, copper, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, phosphorus, sulfur and chlorine.
6.Iron helps in the production of hemoglobin to supply oxygen to the human body. This is equal to the energy of the phosphorus moving around the plant.
7.Phosphorus stores energy around the plant and helps plants in photosynthesis. 85% of phosphorus in the human body is found in bones and teeth. It also helps the body consume and store energy.

What a surprise .... how much the elements in the soil play a role in the structure of the human body and the needs!
So there is no doubt in the charm that the man was taken from the ground.

Did you see the power of his breath?  Our body is set up exactly what it needs to stay healthy. Now that we have a low percentage of oxygen it is a dangerous warning for us.

Suppose the percentage of potassium is reduced then it is also dangerous. Excess potassium in our blood is also dangerous. Potassium affects the way our heart muscle works. In some cases it can cause a heart attack.

So it makes sense how well he built our body without a single mistake!

When God breathed into our nostrils of a lump of clay we become a man. And if he takes that breath back, the lump of clay will turn into clay again!

And then why did he turn that clay into a man? Why this life-and-death struggle?

Do we end up in the mud after death? The Word of God says NO.

"For as in Adam all die, so in Christ, all will be made alive. 23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 1 Corinthians 15:22,23"

This means that we, who have become human from the soil, join the soil, and sleep. And that sleep is not what you wake up to when you wake up but when Jesus comes with His angels, there will be a trumpet sound from heaven then the dead will raise up from the grave. He will then be resurrected with an immortal body, receive a glorious body, and enter heaven according to God's plan. What a wondrous love is this?.

Our death, resurrection, and immortal happy life with the Lord in heaven after judgment .... Let us read these planned verses in order.

Death:

Death is for everyone. But those who are still alive when he comes will be transformed into a glorious body. "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1 Corinthi 15:51-52."

JUDGEMENT:

Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,. Hebrew 9:27

Revelation 20:12-15 - 12. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

13. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done..

14. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. .

15. Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire..

Immortal life with God:

Revelation 20:11 - Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them..

21:1 Then I saw “new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

2.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband..

3. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. .

4. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

5. He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

That is, the Lord made men in their likeness, gave them purity, and lovingly transformed them into a group of kings and priests so that we might be with Him in that eternal heaven. That is why God made man with his own hands and not with his words. That great blessing of having nothing in creation is given only to us human beings. May we enter heaven and live by looking at Him, listening to His words and worshiping Him. The Lord is going to give us the gift of eternal bliss without tears or worries. Hallelujah!

MAN ALSO MADE GOD

If God is preparing everything for human beings with such great plans, then what is that man doing? Putting His love aside, leaving the plans of that Holy God, the earthly man who became man in His hands is seeking God in that very soil. He makes a clay idol and worships God.

In fact ... than the clay idol that has no power to see, hear or speak, is there more power in us who were born in that clay and breathed the breath of the Lord! And how fair is it to seek God in the dust, in the tree, in the mound?

Can we call another person 'Nanna' who is not the Father before us who loves us and protects us like the sin of his eye? Can our father's heart withstand that?  The man is doing the same. He deserves hell for doing exactly what he was commanded not to do. “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below." Exodus 20:3-4

  • Some consider the work they do to be God.
  • Others think their stomach is their god and try harder to satisfy it.
  • Many people consider their money to be their god. We can work hard and earn money to live but if we think money is God,   that is stupidity.
  • Some people compare them to God based on the help they give to others, which is also not correct. We should live like Him and show His priceless love to others, but we should not try to show God here and there.
  • Our work should not be considered as Lord but should work for the Lord.
  • Every work, helping others, should be done as the Lord did. We must love our neighbor as the Father loves us.
  • Are the devotees declaring that we should live only for the Lord!

Paul:
1. "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.. 1 Corinthi 10:31"

2. "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.. Colossians  3:17"
3.  Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,
 Colossians 3:23"
4. " If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. . Romans 14:8"
5."Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.1 Corinthians 6:19-20."
6. "Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.. Hebrew 4:13".

Malachi:
7. “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. Malachi 3:17."

So then, friends, we have been living far away from the Lord as long as we live in this body, because we know that this tent of our tent on earth has fallen into ruin, according to the plan that the Lord has prepared for us.

We have the courage to leave this body and live with the Lord.

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. or we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:8,10

Can we clearly understand why we are made of clay in the hands of God? The Father made man out of clay and loved him dearly and prepared a plan for us according to his eternal will to live with him in heaven forever.

What should we do if we realize this? Shall we walk in the path, as Paul said, "for to live is Christ, and to die is gain," not only for this fleeting life but for the earthly one day to be transformed into a glorious body and to hope for the heavenly entrance which He has prepared for us? Let's run for sure.

So we expect the rest of us to leave the body and be with Him.

Let us conclude this topic by giving thanks along with the psalmist to the Lord who hid so many great things in the Scriptures for us.

Father....

What is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?

You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.

You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:

all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,

the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.

 Lord, our Lord,

how majestic is your name in all the earth!

4. THE SUN (THE SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS)

 Dear friends in Christ,

We clearly know that the ‘sun’ is a great miracle in the wonderful creation that God has made. The reason I chose the topic of ‘sun’ is that a lot of things about the sun came into the light when I was meditating on the past topic of ‘light’. So I wanted to write a separate article about this.

Going into the matter further, when we think of the sun all we remember is sweating and extreme heat. But if we go a little closer to the sun and learn about the conditions there, there are a lot of creepy things that will appear. Let's learn a few things about the 'Solar System'.

Formation & evolution

1. Many scientists think the sun and the rest of the solar system formed from a giant, rotating cloud of gas and dust known as the solar nebula.

2. The sun lies at the heart of the solar system, where it is by far the largest object. It holds 99.8 percent of the solar system's mass and is roughly 109 times the diameter of the Earth. Another surprising thing is, -  about one million Earths could fit inside the sun. Isn't it so big!

3. The sun and its atmosphere are divided into many zones and layers. The solar interior, from the inside, is made up of the core, the radiative zone, and the convection zone. The solar atmosphere above it consists of the photosphere, chromosphere, transition region, and corona. The gas coming out of the corona is much hotter than solar air.

4. The transition region, then a few hundred to a few thousand miles thick, is heated by the corona above it and emits its light as ultraviolet rays. At the top is the super-hot corona, which typically ranges from 900,000 F (500,000 C) to 10.8 million F (6 million C), and even reaches tens of millions of degrees when a solar flare occurs.

5. Many believed that the sun revolved around the earth in ancient cultures, and the ancient Greek scholar Ptolemy described this "geographical" pattern in 150 B.C. Later in 1543 A.D, Nicholas Copernicus described the sun-centered model of the solar system, and when Galileo Galilei's discovery of Jupiter's moons revealed that not all heavenly bodies circled the Earth.

6. To learn more about how the Sun and other stars work, after initial observations using rockets, scientists study the Sun from Earth orbit. Between 1962 and 1971 NASA launched eight orbiting observatories called the Orbiting Solar Observatory. Seven of them were successful and analyzed the sun at ultraviolet and X-ray wavelengths as well as photographed the super-hot corona.

Isn’t it so amazing  to hear about the sun! The fireball was strangely large, larger than we could have imagined if we looked at the photographs taken a little closer.
  • And how did that sphere of fire originate?
Answer - With a single word from God our Father... Awesome! What a great God we have. "This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name: Jeremiah 31:35."
And let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. Genesis 1:14-16".
  • In whose possession is this blazing sun?
Jehovah God is the Creator of all things "He speaks to the sun and it does not shine; he seals off the light of the stars.  "Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens, God has pitched a tent for the sun." Psalm 19:4,
The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon. Psalms 74:16".

Even the sun, blazing like a fiery sphere in the sky, recognizes and obeys the Creator. Let us see from the Scriptures some evidence of how much he obeyed.

Sun you Stand Still ......

No man can stand before you all the days of your life...Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:5-9", Joshua, who received these promises, believed in God and realized his power, and he prayed to the Lord and spoke to the sun while the Israelites were at war with the Amorites.

“Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”

"The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!" Joshua 10:12-14."

Even such a terrible sun,  when his Creator commanded to obey the voice of my servant Joshua,  immediately  the Sun obeyed His word and stay in Gibeah for a whole day.

It seems that many people who do not believe in this matter have come to a conclusion after much research.

Baltimore, President of the Curtis Engine Company, and Harold Hill explained that NASA's recent discoveries in an aerospace program confirmed that all such events in the Bible are TRUE.

Cambridge researchers:  They found that the date of the biblical event of Joshua stopping the sun is October 30, 1207 B.C. and that the date of the oldest recorded eclipse to date is exactly 3,224 years ago. So Joshua asked the Lord to keep the sun still! That's true! The sun and moon stood still and were careful not to pass the day. Searching on computers again on this subject came to the conclusion that this was a real event. But when they went back to the time it was written and observe that the time spent on that day was 23 hours and 20 minutes - not a full day, as Joshua's incident is written 'approximately' in the Bible.

Sun you go back ...

When Hezekiah The King of Judah became terminally ill, he wept and prayed before God when the prophet Isaiah spoke the word of God that you would die. Immediately God accepted his prayer, healed him, and extended him to another 15 years of age. Hezekiah was also blessed with a sign to say that his word would surely be fulfilled.

“This is the Lord’s sign to you that the Lord will do what he has promised: Shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or shall it go back ten steps? It is a simple matter for the shadow to go forward ten steps,” said Hezekiah. “Rather, have it go back ten steps.” II Kings 20:1-11"  And the Lord brought the shadow back ten degrees! Ten degrees in the sun means exactly 40 minutes on our clock! 23 hours 20 minutes in Joshua and 40 minutes in 2 Kings completes a day missing in the universe.

If you do not pay much attention to those 40 minutes, it will lead to a difference of 1000 years. Also, the orbital statistics vary a lot, so the researchers concluded that those forty minutes had to be researched based on the Bible.

When comparing this event to the story of Joshua, note that the 40 minutes missed there were near Hezekiah: on the whole one day was completely missing; That is, 23 hours and 20 minutes during Joshua and 40 minutes during Hezekiah. Have you seen the Perfection of the Holy God?

Note that I am giving links at the bottom for more information about the researchers' studies on these two events.

Have you seen how greatly the sun obeys the word of God? But if we open our spiritual eyes, we can see another Sun. The sun shining in the sky is useful for our physical life but it is temporary. But the Father sent us another sun to rise on those who fear Him. That sun is the sun of righteousness who died for our sins and raised again from the death who lights up our souls is our Lord Jesus Christ.

But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed calves. Malachi 4:2."

The sun visible in the sky lasts only a lifetime. The Word of God says that in a short time the darkness will disappear. The sun of righteousness that shines in our lives will never set, and He will be the eternal light.

"The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end. Isaiah 60:19-20."

Moreover, Jesus says that those who shine in His light are like the sun that shines in heaven. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear. Matthew 13:43."

After considering all this, if the sun itself is a Visible miracle to our eyes, it is our responsibility to continue our salvation in faith by discovering the unseen great miracle to come.

"The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp." ... Revelation 21:23.

"There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign forever and ever. Revelation  22:5."

What a great promise we have given dear friends! In this world the sun, light, air, water and finally our life ... Since we know for sure that nothing is eternal, let us entrust this short life given to us as a gift to the Lord. We are going to fight the fight of faith and live with Him in the kingdom of God after death in the presence of the Almighty for ages to come.

I'm closing. Let's Rejoice in the Lord.

Fill your mind with his words and go out once and see the sky open. Never seen before! The mind is filled with joy. Felt like His glowing face.

For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like you, Lord God Almighty?
You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.
The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.

Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;

3. The LIGHT

Dear Friends,

Greetings to you in the Mighty and Matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Hope you all are safe and sound by the Grace of our God JEHOVAH RAPHA.

In the previous topic "The Creator's Creation" We have meditated up to some extent on His Great Creation. We cannot express all the things He did, but we must meditate on a few things. Because our Lord has kept many of His creations as shadows. Our Faith will further strengthen by meditating on them, so I will try to put each of them before you.

Now let's walk into the  'Light' (THE LIGHT), our selected Topic.

Let us first see what the scholars and researchers in the world says about the subject of 'Light' and then let us understand the clarity of the Lord's Light in the scriptures.

See below the contents of human knowledge in the form of Question and Answer.

1. What is light?

Light is a kind of energy that allows us to see the world around us. Light is an important element in our daily lives. It guides us throughout the day, waking us up in the morning and getting us to sleep at night. Light is an inverted, electromagnetic wave that can be seen by the average human being.

2. Where does this 'light' come from?

Our main natural light sources are the sun and the stars. Light from the sun travels through space and reaches the earth, where it becomes "scattered" when it hits various particles and molecules in the atmosphere. This light travels through the atmosphere and then reaches the Earth's surface.

3. How do humans use light?

The light from the sun is all around us. We can use it to communicate, navigate, direct, learn, and explore. There is so much more light than we can detect with our eyes. There is no atmosphere in space or scattering light on the moon. All the colors travel in a straight line together without breaking the light coming from the sun.

4. How fast does light travel?

The speed of light in a vacuum is 1,86,282 miles per second (2,99,792 kilometers per second), and in theory, there is nothing faster than light. Per hour (in miles), the speed of light is very high: about 670,616,629 mph.

5. What happens if there is no light?

Without light, nothing is visible to our eyes. Because light is what gives our eyes the power to see, we become blind without light. Photosynthesis causes plants to release oxygen, which is used for gravity. Without light, all of this would not be possible.

Now let’s get into the scriptures.

How did the light come about? The verse says that God created light with the single word "let there be light". Then he separated the light from the darkness and made the sun to shine, and the moon to shine;

God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:16-18.

That means God created the Light before the Sun created! Where did that light come from? The answer to this is stated by God Himself in the form of a question in the book of Job. “What is the way to the abode of light? Job 38:19.  It mean to say that, the place where the light lives is different. But where is it?  Daniel has the answer. "and light dwells with him. Daniel 2:22."   David also gives another clarification. "The Lord wraps himself in the light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent 104:2."

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him, there is no darkness at all. 1John 1:5".

That means He is radiating light on us. "His splendor was like the sunrise; rays flashed from his hand, where his power was hidden. Habakkuk 3:4. who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. 1Timothy 6:16.

What makes sense to me about this is that God, our Father said, "Let there be light and light in this great universe, which is shrouded in darkness." Then the light separated the darkness and assigned laws to the Universe. Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up God’s[a] dominion over the earth? Job 38:33

We are not in the light of something accidentally born. We are in that light that surrounds us with Almighty God. "The Lord is God, and he has made his light shine on us." Psalm 118: 27, likewise David perceived by the Spirit, "Let the light of your face shine on us." Psalm 4: 6, says with a request.

He is the light we see. His facial expression. We see the light coming from His presence, in His Word, to fulfill His will. After a while, this sun and moon will no longer exist. We can see with our own eyes the light of His light which we now see as a shadow and rejoice in Him. "The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end." Isaiah 60:19-20.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. Rev.21:23

If this light from His presence seems so great to us, and if we have the opportunity to come into His presence and spend ages there with Him, will we give up? Don't give up at all! Do not give up. Because even that opportunity was sent for us by God our Father in the form of light. "The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him." John 1:9,10.

See how the sons of Korah prayed to Him, filled by the spirit of God.

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain,to the place where you dwell. Psalms 43:3

That light came on. Come and said, "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

He came as the Son of Man to take us to his dwelling place, so He said “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." Isaiah 60:1. Now that we have accepted him and are searching for him, "You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence." Psalms 90:8 So when we admit them and leave, That true light leads us to enter into that eternal kingdom that does not want to be the light of the sun, the light of the moon. "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness." John 12:46

That light is our Lord Jesus. "When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12. "In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."John 1:4, "As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work."John 9:4, "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness."John 12:46.

This is why it is said:“Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

He has made us, the established lineage, the royal priesthood, the holy people, the people who belong to God, to proclaim the attributes of the One who called us out of darkness into his wonderful light, and to lead many into that light upon which we are enlightened. When we perfectly fulfill His will .........“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[a] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other." Mathew 24:30-31.

When we are born into His light, when we fall into spiritual darkness, His great Son's plan is to send His Son into the light, to be lit in His light, to walk in His light and to enter into the everlasting kingdom. The Lord is not far from us. They were with us, entered into us and lit us up. He came to light and made us light.

Would not the mind be overwhelmed if one reads the words of the Lord! Now the time is August 26 at 3am. If you meditate on the plans of that lover, I admire his light. There is still a lot to say. My life is as satisfying as the fat brain that David was.

Meditate on those scriptures, too, and rejoice in that glorious light. May the grace of the Lord be with you.

Light of the world

You stepped down into darkness

Opened my eyes, let me see

Beauty that made this heart adore You

Hope of a life spent with You

Here I am to worship

Here I am to bow down

Here I am to say that You're my God

Why Did It Happen?

Dear Friends, May the Spirit of the Father who raised Christ our Lord from the dead be with us! Amen!   I always wondered why did it happen?...
